I booked my Ha Long Bay cruise and Hue city tour with Van at Indochina Voyages, and it was a fantastic vacation! Everything was perfect, and the cruise and tour was better than I expected. There were no hiccups with the trips and our drivers were never late for our timed pick ups and drop offs. were all excellent. He was so informative and attentive and put together an amazing holiday for us. We decided on 12 day private tour which included Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh and Mekong Delta. Trip was seamless, internal Flights easy and most of all the Guides and Drivers we spent time with were fantastic. Joe showed us Hanoi and took us to Halong Bay for our cruise and then took us to the airport for our flight to Hue, he introduced us to street food (delicious) and we learned so much through his passionate personality. In Hue we met with Tai, his English was great, very experienced and he showed us many interesting places, we drove over the mountains to Hoi An and spent time exploring. Our 3 day stay in a beach bungalow at Palm Garden Resort was so enjoyable. When we arrived in Ho Chi Minh we met Cody, a young, charming and funny young man who we loved spending time with and he gave us so much information, we laughed a lot and shared many stories, we have contacted him and the others since returning home and shared photos. Minh Vu organised great accommodation and a wonderful itinerary. We highly recommend Indochina Voyages to experience a memorable holiday.

We used Indochina Voyages for a 17 day custom tour of Vietnam and Cambodia – Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, HCM City and Siem Reap. From the first inquiry to the final send-off, their service was excellent. As we planned our trip, they listened to our interests and requirements, offered helpful advice and prepared a first-rate itinerary to meet our needs. We threw in a couple late changes, which they handled with ease. On arrival, their top-notch service continued with flawless airport transfers and knowledgeable guides at each of our stops. Hotels and restaurants were well-chosen and met our standards for quality and comfort. We had a couple hiccups in our return travel plans and even though Indochina Voyages was not responsible for booking our international flights they stepped in to help us make alternate arrangements. I can highly recommend Indochina Voyages! We just came back from a 20-day custom designed Vietnam and Cambodia trip that was well organized and stress free.

Originally, I started looking at small group tours. I found them very expensive and many used an overnight train from Hanoi to Hue (not for me). In researching I kept finding people that used Indochina Voyages for private tours and spoke highly of them. I decided to email them with my dates and places that I wanted to see. The reply was prompt and they worked with me to plan a trip that included a Halong Bay cruise and a 3-night Mekong river cruise.

After deciding on an itinerary and hotel style, we were given a price in US dollars. It included a private guide and driver who met us at every airport, hotels that included breakfast, tours, cruises, inter country flights etc. This was just perfect for a first-time visit. The entire trip went as planned and Daniel from Indochina Voyages contacted us numerous times during our tour to make sure we were happy. He even made a point of meeting us in Hanoi for coffee.

When we arrived in Vietnam a guide met us at the airport (they had a sign with our names). The guide and driver took us to our hotel and helped us check in. That same guide and driver stayed with us showing us the sights until our flight to the next destination. At the next airport a new guide and driver would be with us to explore that area. Can you imagine how nice it was for just the two of us to see everything privately with just a guide? Affordably luxury! We never felt like we were being herded around as you do on a group tour. All the vehicles had aircon, were roomy, comfortable, and water was provided. Our drivers were excellent, and we appreciated their calm maneuvering on such chaotic (to us) roads.

Our itinerary detailed what we would see, what meals were included (beverages like beer, juice and soft drinks are always extra). There were never any hidden charges. Great care was taken to ensure the restaurants we went to were good for tourists and had clean toilets.

This was a wonderful trip and Indochina Voyages made it extra special for us. Thank you to Huyen and Daniel at Indochina Voyages and to all our guides who each in their own way, created very special memories.

Coming from Vietnam but I haven’t have much knowledge about Ha Long cruises so I was assisted by Daniel Nguyen-travel consultant from Indochina Voyages for the trip. And my family was very happy with the experience and services arranged by Dan. I gave him such a last-minute request for 2 cabins on 4-star cruise traveling in the next 3 days. And Dan promptly responded asking for our preferences and gave us very helpful advices before sending through his proposal based on our requirements. Once the cruise I chose was fully booked, he immediately found an alternative and even offered a complimentary upgrade. Besides the pristine scene of Ha Long bay, crew from Aclass Stellar cruise provided a great service and was very friendly. Kayaking at Luon Cave is a must thing to do and there was also bamboo boat rowed by local people if you cannot do kayaking. However, Soi Sim island was so crowded due to summer time.
After all, I would highly recommend Dan and his company for anyone who want to experience an amazing and memorable trip.

If you’ve never been to Vietnam, have no idea what to expect, and are looking for professional, English-proficient and fun guides, book through Indochina Voyages. As two girls from Dubai traveling alone to the country, we had our fair share of questions (and demands!). We wanted our Visas taken care of, five-star hotels, good food based on our dietary requirements (one gluten-free and one pescatarian), and to see as much as we could in nine days. We chose to see the beautiful North (Ninh Binh, Halong Bay, Sapa and Hanoi), and weren’t disappointed. Nam, a senior travel consultant at Indochina Voyages, was dedicated to us and was constantly available throughout our time in the country. We also met with him three times whilst there, and he personally took us around to his favorite photo-worthy places (something a guide should do!). What I loved most about Indochina Voyages is that they tailor-make your experience based on your taste and level of expectation. Van Do from IndoChina Voyages organised our week, from picking great hotels (Hanoi La siesta and Ninh Binh Esmerelda) and cruises(Signature Halong Bay) to organising a fantastic guide (Joe) and driver, that met us at the airport and were always at the hotel each morning as arranged. They organised our lunches and tickets into the various activities. They were waiting at Halong Bay so when we got off the boat they were right there to get our bags and whisk us to the next destination.For us as a family of four we enjoyed our time in northern Vietnam, with no stress, private tour that didn’t have a strict timetable. Highly recommend this tour group.

The six of us ranging in age from 69 to 9 travelled from Hanoi to Siem Reap over 18 days. We has a night on Halong Bay, travelled by train to Sapa, flew to Hue & explored Hue, Da Nang & Hoi An with a day trip to the Ba Na Hills. We then flew to Ho Chi Minh city & travelled by bus to the Mekong Delta where we cruised over night. From Chau Doc we travelled by speed boat across the border to Phnom Penh & then onto Siem Reap to see the temples. Everything that Huyen from Indo China Voyages organised, happened. The guides and drivers were excellent. All our hotels were centrally located and very good 3-4 star. Based on this trip we thoroughly recommend Huyen at Indo China Voyages, she was extremely helpful throughout the lengthy booking process as we added other options to the trip. We had a wonderful family holiday with our daughter and her 3 children. Next time to South East Asia we’ll be calling Huyen.

We recently had Ms. Van of Indochina Voyages arrange tours for us in Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap. She was very helpful in getting everything well-organized in advance and very pleasant to deal with. She even followed-up to ensure everything went well. This private trip for my husband and I was the trip of a lifetime. Nam Ngo at Indochina Voyages worked with us for over a year to give us our perfect experience. I can’t thank him enough for not just hanging in there with us, but providing recommendations that really enhanced every day. He responded promptly to every email and talked us through what we wanted. We met in Hanoi and he helped us with a sim card for our phone and kept in touch with us the whole way. The Hotels, tours, meals, transfers and all of tour guides and drivers were top notch. We changed our schedule a few times ( okay, maybe more than a few) and he handled it all seamlessly. It was perfect. We relaxed and enjoyed the whole thing and were taken care of beautifully. Vietnam was so amazing, it’s hard to pick a favorite place. Hanoi was exiting and bustling, Halong Bay was ridiculously photogenic, Sapa, and Ninh Binh looked like post cards. The beach at Hoian was a great place for free time. We loved the Mekong Delta river cruise. Angkor Wat was so spectacular. The perfect ending was at a lovely resort at Phu Quac. Thank You, Thank You Nam and Indochina Voyages. Thanks to Van Do of Indochina Voyages, our trip was nothing short of amazing, it far exceeded our expectations. It was one of, if not the absolute memorable trip to a stunningly beautiful county. In planning our tailored trip, I told Van what I was looking for and what my concerns were and she seemed to understand perfectly. She listened and accommodated our wishes. She was professional, fun to work with, very responsive and I was confident that I was in good hands. This was the first time we used a local travel agency and was a bit skeptical. After experiencing each step of the itinerary, never having to worry about setting up transportation, finding a guide, and having each activity highlighted, the value was worth the expense.

First up Daniel Nguyen, the travel agent at Indochina voyages was terrific, so helpful, polite and nothing too much trouble.

The 12 day trip we had seeing Vietnam from North to South ran perfectly. The logistics where incredible given the two internal flights, guides and pickups from the airports and hotels were amazing. You guys must have great networks.

There were just the two of us, a guide and driver. We allowed Daniel to list the activities to do as we didnt know anything about Vietnam. Im glad we did as we were able to go to physical theatre in HCM city, to the imperial city of stunning Hue, tours to ancient Champa city of My Son located in the dense jungle of central Vietnam and on to the wonder of the world Halong Bay. The total area of this bay is 1,553 square kilometers, consisting of 1969 limestone islands having various sizes. Its gobsmakingly beautiful!
So glad to have Dan looking after us! I only wish it had of been a longer trip. Next trip back to Hanoi and the north for a longer tour, so will be in touch Dan.
