We did a 12 day private tour of Vietnam and this is the second time we have booked with Indochina Voyages. Van Do, our consultant provided excellent service. She was efficient and responded quickly. We told her what we wanted and she made a few changes and suggestions which suited us. Hotel accommodation and meals were excellent. Tour guide Jackie was fun, helpful and knowledgeable and so was Sinh in Hoi An. Enjoyable stress free holiday. Highly recommend and would book through them again.

Recently returned from our 2-week trip to north and central Vietnam. Our travel consultant Minh Vu did a perfect job and took all of our requests into account. His recommendations for activities and hotels were wonderful.
In Hanoi we had a great guide Dan, who gave us a very exciting and informative tour. He also took our 10-year-old son into account and played a quiz and a game with him.
Every day was a highlight, we had a Halong Bay cruise, were in Hue, visited Marble Mountain and spent a few days relaxing on the beach in Hoi An and visiting this romantic city.
All meeting points and times were kept to perfectly and we felt safe and looked after.

Completed the Vietnam Cultural Highlights 14 day private Vietnam tour with Indochina Voyages in March 2024 facilitated by Ngoc Hoang. Indochina Voyages organized a fantastic trip for my teen daughter and I to Vietnam. Minh Vu, our travel consultant, was able to accommodate all of our requests. There were several things that we wanted to experience and we were able to do them all. Our guides and drivers were extremely punctual, informative and kind. Our vegetarian diet was accommodated without any difficulty. I can’t say enough great things about our experience and wholeheartedly recommend Indochina Voyages for your next trip to Vietnam.

The experience was great!
Minh Vu, our contact person, did a great job planning our trip. He was always quick to reply and adjust the programme. We started with a rough plan, and following multiple mails and converstations he tailored the plan to our wishes and did some great suggestions, including Lam Binh which ended up being one of our favourite parts of the trip! The planning was super smooth and enjoyable and we can only recommend this service for people wanting to do a custom trip.
During our stay we were accompanied by Dan our guide and Mr Phuong our driver. Mr Phuong drove us safely around in the mountainous areas in the North of Vietnam. Some days we had to cover a lot of distance on not always the best roads, but he always did a great (and safe) job!
Dan was a superb guide. His English was very good and he was funny and ejoyable to hang around. He liked to go ‘off the beaten track’ which led us to visiting a lot of local people ind there houses and really get a very authentic experience. Vietnamese people are so friendly and welcoming! He was also flexible and sometimes changed the plan slightly according to weather or our wishes. We also had lunch and dinner together on most days and he always arranged for very good (and safe) food and made sure we tried a lot of different things, which was a great ‘extra’ experience.
Overall we had an amazing trip in Northern Vietnam and the Indochina Voyages team made planning and executing this trip very easy and trouble free. We will definitely use Indochina Voyages again!

My husband and I spent 2 1/2 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia! We had the most wonderful adventure. We love to experience the culture, the food, history and hear the stories of people and our trip included all of those things.

Minh from Indochina Voyages was amazing in creating a personalized trip that included North, Central and South Vietnam, as well as Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. We had personal tour guides in every area in addition to plenty of personal time to explore ourselves. All of our guides were excellent with a special shout out to Jackie in North Vietnam! Another highlight was the Vespa night tour in Saigon!

It was a trip of a lifetime and we can’t wait to go back to SE Asia. With all of that the price was amazingly reasonable!

We had planned our trip prior to covid so our trip was even more special due to waiting for so long. From the first contact with our travel consultant Minh Vu, who kept in contact over the years of planning I can only say he was exceptional. We visited North, central and South Vietnam as well as Cambodia. We had so many highlights, from our cyclo ( Xich Lo) tour around the French quarter, food tour, cooking class, canoeing through the caves in Ninh Binh to our 2 night cruise on a junk boat on Bai Tu Long Bay and our 2 night cruise on our private sampan on the Mekong Delta. We did so much more to mention. It was wonderful to learn about the culture in Vietnam and we have a better understanding of this beautiful country. Our guides Kien, Jarod, Une and our wonderful drivers were outstanding. We can’t wait to come back again in the future and will be definitely planning our trip with Minh Vu.

Indochina Voyages and especially our agent Van Do helped make our trip memorable and relaxing. We had a private tour arranged for 4 of us, 2 couples. Van arranged everyting from the internal flights, hotels, many of our meals, cooking classes, elephant sactuary visit, transportation (van), our own driver and english speaking guide in every city we visited. The guides were knowledgeable, flexible with our needs, respectful and friendly. We were met at each airport by our guide who helped us check into our hotel and get oriented to our new city. Van was organized, detailed oriented and was able to fit in everything we wanted to see. She would check in with us periodically to make sure things were going well. One day I was sick, she even emailed me to see if I was ok. We felt the trip was also very affordable for all that was included. We would highly recommend using Indochina Voyages and we also recommend Van Do as the travle agent. We have been telling family and friends about our trip and recommended both to them.

We just recently returned from a two week northern Vietnam experience arranged by Minh Vu at Indochina voyages. They took exceptional care from us from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel upon arrival – so refreshing after a day of travel. Our hotel in Hanoi (Sifonia) was in a perfect location and the staff there were all very attentive. Last minute, Minh arranged a food tour for us, where Jackie our guide was fun and helped us choose delicious (yet safe for the stomach) foods.

After a few days in Hanoi, we set off for the north with Hung and Long. Our adventures started in Lim Binh where we hiked, boated, biked, and dined with locals. This was the highlight of our trip, as we were the only guests at the homestay, and even went in a local cave – just us!

Our journey continued through Xa Giang, Meo Vac, Halong Bay, and Ninh Binh – where each stop was clean and comfortable with exceptional service. Minh planned perfectly for us – I had given him an idea of what we like to do – athletic and comfort wise – before the trip, and he nailed all the accommodations and activities. For example, our boat in Halong Bay only had five total couples – it was very private and luxurious.

Our two weeks of travel was led by Long our guide and Hung the driver. Long has years of experience being a travel guide, and was very knowledgable to the history and culture of the countryside. He was also flexible in planning, and was aware of when we needed to start later in order to get some rest, or push on to more exciting things ahead. He was a wealth of knowledge and experience.

I cannot say enough good things about our driver, Hung. I get extremely car sick, yet even on the winding roads of the north, I never felt ill. He handled all the narrow mountain passes like an expert. I should also mention that the car was comfortable and spacious and everytime I got in, there was a fresh bottle of water waiting for me!

To summarize, Indochina Voyages (and specifically Minh, Jackie, Long, and Hung), took excellent care of us on our trip. We never had to think about anything – it was always taken care of for us. We felt safe, comfortable, and had a great time. When we return to see South Vietnam, we will be using Indochina Voyages to guide us. I cannot recommend this company enough.

As frequent travellers we have experienced numerous guided tours. But this trip to Vietnam, planned and arranged by our tour organiser Ngoc Huang, exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we were met at Hanoi airport, through to the Ha Long Bay cruise, and on to Saigon, the trip went like clockwork. The hotels situated in the best parts of town (the Old Quarter in Hanoi and District 1 in Saigon), were excellent. All for a very reasonable price.

The 2 tour guides (Dan in Hanoi, as well as Emma in Saigon) were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and humorous. Both were flexible, and were able to vary the original itinerary based on our request for a more local experience. Even the private cars, as well as the drivers were impeccable.

Ngoc’s attention to detail was excellent, and she was in touch with us right through the trip to ensure all was well. She even met us in person in Saigon to see if there was anything else we needed!
