Morning

Your refined journey begins at Tuan Chau Harbor, where the excitement of open water and new discoveries quietly stirs. Step aboard the Velar of the Seas, your luxurious floating home for the coming days, and begin sailing into the remote and enchanting waters of Lan Ha Bay: a quieter, less-visited extension of Halong Bay, cherished for its untouched beauty and striking limestone scenery. Lunch is served in the elegant dining lounge as the cruise glides smoothly through this unspoiled seascape, the world outside growing more spectacular with every passing mile.

Afternoon

Unwind on the terrace deck or your private balcony and join a warm welcome presentation by the cruise director, who will introduce you to the legends, traditions and breathtaking geography of Halong and Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon, your first exploration leads to the tranquil Tra San area, where you glide silently by kayak through calm jade-green waters, weaving between towering limestone cliffs in one of the bay’s most peaceful and intimate corners.

Evening

Returning to the cruise, savor a refined à la carte dinner as the vessel drops anchor for the night in a serene and secluded setting. The stillness of the bay at night, with nothing but stars above and calm water all around, is something truly worth experiencing.

Day 2: Mooring — Cave — Fishing Village — Beach — Mooring

Morning

Begin your day with a Tai Chi session on the terrace deck, a rejuvenating and peaceful way to greet the morning as golden light bathes the bay. During breakfast, the cruise sails toward the spectacular Dark and Bright Cave. Afternoon

The journey continues to a floating fishing village, where local families have practiced fish and oyster farming on the calm waters for generations. Guided by a welcoming local host, you gain wonderful insight into the daily rhythms and warmth of this unique waterside community. Back on board, lunch is served while the cruise enjoys scenic sailing through ever-changing limestone landscapes. The early afternoon is dedicated to an engaging onboard workshop or presentation, offering deeper and more personal insight into the region’s rich culture and heritage.

Later, the cruise anchors close to a secluded beach for a truly special lifestyle moment.
